With every purchase, we donate 10% to Elevated Youth, a children’s clothing charity, ensuring that our customers not only look good but also feel good about making a positive impact on the world and the environment.

MEET OUR FOUNDING TEAM

The team consists of Founders Francis Ruan and Ben Brierly both are Influential Student Leaders On The Los Altos High School Campus

Co-Founder

Francis Ruan

Francis Ruan, a 16-year-old junior, attends school at Los Altos High School in CA, is a passionate student and plays Varsity Football and runs Varsity Track and Field. Founder of Los Altos Vintage, a clothing business that helps to aid in the riddance of Fast Fashion, and donates 10% of profits to Elevated Youth. Currently, he is a marketing data analyst intern for Pre Snap, an app that gives Unlimited access to hundreds of college football cut ups, coaching videos, and drills. On campus he is in the National Honors Society, mentors the Mandarin section for the ELD Foundation, mentors the incoming Freshman for Jumpstart Mentoring, and peer-tutors Calculus and Algebra II on campus. Francis is a Fellow on AI in Medicine at the Los Altos Institution. He is in his third year of Student Government (ASB) at school and has taken initiative as Class President Of The Class Of 2025 two consecutive years.

Co-Founder

Ben Brierly

Ben Brierly is currently a Junior attending Los Altos High School. He participates in many extracurriculars, including 3 year Varsity Basketball, Volunteer work, and Co-founding Bay Area necessities, and is experienced in restoring and distributing vintage clothing. Bay area necessities is a non profit organization that takes pride in giving back to those in need through delivering bundles including the daily essentials. Ben volunteered for multiple different orginizations and through the city of mountain view. From a young age he had a passion for Clothing, Photography, Music, and sports. Starting in middle school, he developed an obsession with finding old clothes for affordable prices.
